Koos Bierman - The Blind Physiotherapist - Dry Needling SA 003
Koos Bierman is a visually impaired physiotherapist based in Bloemfontein. He works in the outpatient department of a tertiary hospital, where he also serves as a clinical supervisor for undergraduate physiotherapy students.

With 20 years of experience, Koos has a special interest in soft tissue and movement rehabilitation. He has been teaching dry needling since 2011 and is a dedicated student of all aspects of the technique. Koos prides himself on his comprehensive knowledge of human anatomy and his strong focus on palpation skills.
In addition to his hospital work, Koos runs a private practice, treating clients for musculoskeletal conditions. His expertise in human kinematics allows him to perform and analyze movement patterns, such as gait analysis, using cutting-edge technology. He also offers medicolegal report writing as part of his services.

As an independent lecturer, Koos is passionate about teaching dry needling and aims to share his knowledge and skills with every student, helping as many people as possible benefit from this treatment. He firmly believes that dry needling is a highly effective tool that can significantly improve the quality of life for many clients. Koos loves the techniques and is enthusiastic about sharing them with others.
